Stepping backstage into Rick Owens SS10 show at Les Beaux-Arts de Paris was like floating inside a rocker’s dream. A room filled with long edgy legs (ie: the models), their assistants, press and paparazzi, Rick Owens’s stunning avant-guard collection hanging on the rails still dangeling after their spin on the cat-walk, and James Goldstein - fashion icon, NBA superfan, socialite and probably one of the coolest and nicest people I have met on my fashion week circuit…

Chatting with Rick Owens after his show which ended in a roaring applause – we establised that we are neighbors – yes this multi-talented American designer actually lives in my Parisian hood……I better stock up on sugar as he may just pop by one day asking to borrow some – this is what neighbors do, non?
