It's a Chihuahua Christmas!

We've all seen how the adorable chihuahua dog had become a fashion accessory peering out of someone's large expensive  handbag - now how about one dangling on your Christmas tree?!

Ok, I'm totally not talking about a real dog  here but rather an ornament  dressed in pink made especially for the Christmas tree.

It was my friend Emilie who spotted these on her Christmas shopping spree and immediately called me with her discovery 'you won't believe what's gonna be on trees this year!'  Naturally I dashed to the decoration displays  of some of the big department stores in Paris  to check out these hilariously cute, slightly flamboyant and totally unique tree ornaments which seem to be the new tree deco craze  for this festive season - a collection of dogs and cats (but I like cats less) wearing feathers, glitter and bows!

Created by a Belgian company called Goodwill that specialize in enchanting decorations , there weren't many left on the shelves and at around 22 euros per dog - expect the Parisian trees to look rather hot-dog dazzling this year!

What else are Parisians loving on the trees this year? It seems disco-balls and feather-boas are gonna be quite big too! 

ummmm, are we getting ready for Christmas or a cabaret? Either way, I'm loving it!
