"Karl" for Net-a-Porter
Karl Lagerfeld just launched a new line simply called "Karl" (need it be any more??) on the online fashion boutique Net-a-Porter - "a collection of covetable downtown classics"
To celebrate this launch 5 pop-up stores called Window Shops (note, just windows, no actual store to walk into...) were unveiled in Paris, New York, London, Berlin and Sydney. Naturally we attended the Place Saint-Germain des Pres in Paris, where a window cube was officially opened by Karl Lagerfeld 4:30 p.m. this last Wednesday, January 25.
Below is a demonstration of how one can enter the Window Shop to shop for Karl...(by using the app NET-A-PORTER KARL) or by clicking here http://www.net-a-porter.com/karl
Naturally there were lots and lots of fans....and models boasting the Karl collection...
Potential shoppers received their very own Karl-a-Porter canvas bags and 'Karl addict' T-shirts...
That of course included us too...

Natalie Massenet, executive chairmain of Net-a-Porter was there too...
This is the first of its kind where a designer creates a collection exclusively for an on-line boutique (Net-a-Porter is the exclusive world wide distributor for 4 weeks)
More than 70 pieces of this urban chic collection is available online, including draped dresses in jersey, trousers, sweaters, skirts, dresses, shirts, shoes and bags... All mostly in that iconic black-and-white-Karl-sophisticated-rock look...Love it!
You MUST check out the video below of Karl interviewing himself (yes himself)...we love him even more now!!
