Fetch Club – sorry people, Pooches only!

If you’re not a pooch then you can’t get in! Voila our latest find that we  just couldn’t resist sharing with you, location: New York – the Fetch Club, yes a club for dogs!

When we came across this place we howled out a big “OMG” – for Fetch Club is a private member’s club and hotel for dogs – a wonderfully spacious and clean hangout for our beloved canines to feel more VIP….What’s more, people are not allowed in as they don’t want to disturb the dogs….however us at Paris Popcorn, armed with 2 Chihuahuas, a French accent and Parisian charm managed to get in and bring you a sneak peak of this wondrous spot…. (thanks to Anne for the private tour !)

We thought our chihuahuas, Chupa Chups and Canistrelli would get in purely on the fact that they are Parisian, but no exceptions were made – they first had to pass a sociability test and a certificate of clean health…

What’s more there is a boutique that sells just about anything your heart desires for your best friend – from food treats to clothing shampoo, matching scarf and trainers (for the pooch, not for you!) and even a chewable NY taxi pillow….

 Fancy a professional photo shoot with your dog, that too is possible thanks to their in-house photo sudio!

Naturally the staff and ‘le boss’ are super nice and are true dog lovers to the bone!

What’s a private member’s club without a massage room?

There is even different play rooms for small and big dogs, old and young. Dogs are separated by age, energy level, size, etc. and the dogs are rotated from room to room so that each type of dog gets to experience the best of both worlds….now how nice is that??! And for those dogs with higher social needs there is even a night club where one can organise their birthday parties, animal fund raisers, BARK-MITZVAHS, breed meet-up and dog fashion shows…..sigh!
