Before we get started on our Chanel reportage, we have to blurt out the 3 things we loved best…..the hula-bag, the over-sized pearl necklaces and Stella Tennant….

Everyone who’s anyone is talking about the hula-bags – like, would one have to pay for an extra seat next time one flies carrying a hula-bag? Who cares?! We would!
As for the over-sized peal-necklaces….we love the statement of refined beauty going bold…
And Stella Tennant just lit up the runway – love her!
It’s amazing how Karl Lagerfeld finds his inspiration from the least unlikely element…..wind! The catwalk at the spectacular Grand Palais was lined with wind turbines and solar panels…
Apparently he told Vogue UK “It’s more about the mood of the times, not something you have to translate. It’s all about the wind, it’s in the air. “I started sketching in Central Park and it was so hot that I wanted fresh air.” Who knew mother nature wanted to get into the fashion industry!
The whole collection was vivant, playful, round, voluminous and with head-turning confidence…. Karl continues to pay tribute to Mademoiselle Chanel thanks to the signature black and white outfits, pearls, tweed jackets – all slightly revamped and rejuvenated….like even some sunglasses came adorned with Coco Chanel figurines….
The audience always gets a little exicted at a Chanel show….
Voila the wind-themed runway that blew us away….
Ok, rather chatting with Kanye West blew us away….
And JLo looked fab as ever with her adorable daughter….
Bravo Karl! We love it all…
