August 28, 2012
grace coddington and her cat Pumpkin

Our favorite red-head, American Vogue super-stylist Grace Coddington teamed up with Balenciaga’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere to create limited edition bags to be launched with the upcoming Vogue Fashion Night Out….but what’s all the hype that’s causing Choupette Lagerfeld to be overshadowed? Well, these totes feature hand-drawn illustrations by GC herself of none other than her cat Pumpkin modeling past Balenciaga collections from the last ten years !  These $1000 canvas and leather Pumpkin Papier tote is a limited edition line which comes with 2 matching scarves too (and how nice, 20% of the proceeds go to the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons!) – though ladies, if you are in Paris or London, you might have to drool for a while as word has it this capsule collection will first only be available in in LA and NY….(just no cat fights please!)
