It’s the hilarious and haunted night of Halloween and even Parisians got into the spirit of it all over the city. Below are my 3 favorite snapshots of the night…
These naughty witches were spotted on the metro on their way to a party….
This handsome devil was lost and asked us for directions looking for rue Oberkampf…
And even the chicest of the chic flower shops, Moulié got in the spirit of Halloween with their carved pumpkin window display….
During a brunch with friends in the far west side of Paris, someone suggested we go visit a once off retro-themed flea-market that was being held in an empty warehouse soon to be demolished in the far east side of Paris….How could I resist?!
There were hundreds and thousands of vintage items up for sale – and if you ever wondered what kind of items could be found in a Parisian flea market, wonder no more ….
An empty bottle of “Coco” eau de Parfum by Chanel
A vintage pair of Gaspard Yukievich heels
A romance novel titled ‘The Ideal Man’….(mmmm?)
An old vinyl LP record of lover-boy Julio Iglesias
and why not have your hair done retro style at a flea market?
Hanging around the café area of the trendy Palais de Tokyo contemporary art museum with actress Emilie Glemet – this is what I saw and liked….
One of them old photo booths – which I simply had to insert a 2 Euro coin for some vintage self-portraits….
A tapeography portrait (yes, all made of tape!) of superstar Michael Jackson by artist La Goutte
The ‘spell-checked’ sign at the café entrance…
Last but certainly not least, Emilie’s beautiful new best friend – the YSL “Muse Two” handbag in off-white…sigh!
Walking around the photo shoot for the Vanessa Tugendhaft new jewellery collection….this is what I spotted and liked….
“I can’t pay my rent but I’m fucking gorgeous” yellow bag bearing a quote from song titled Semi Precious Weapons by punk-rock group Semi Precious Weapons matched with a pair of black suede heels from Zara….
Black Prada bag matched with a pair of white Hermés shoes….
