I have to dedicate a post to the legendary Karl Lagerfeld. I loved him. I admired him. I read books about him. He was a close family friend, I dreamt of being his "bff". It was not about Chanel or even his own name's sake brand "Karl Lagerfeld", it was about his creative genius! He was fearless of change and a great visionary. He saw beauty in everything and was quite simply, fashion-royalty. I will miss him and I am thankful he gave me an interview when I first started fashion-blogging 9 years ago..... Thank you for being so fabulous....
(ps: I even named one of my daughters 'Carla'...)
