Port Grimaud the "Venice of Provence."

Just a 10 minute drive from La Croix Valmer (and around 20 minutes from St Tropez) along the shimmering shores of the French Riviera, Port Grimaud is a dreamy lakeside town often referred to as the "Venice of Provence." Surprisingly it was created just over fifty years ago, and today this gem has quickly become an enchanting destination. As I wandered through its labyrinth of canals, I was captivated by the vibrant facades of the houses, painted in an array of pastel hues that reflect beautifully on the water's surface. Each corner of Port Grimaud exudes charm, offering a perfect blend of picturesque serenity and lively Mediterranean spirit. Visiting here is a must for anyone exploring the French Riviera, a burst of colorful and unforgettable experience - a photographers delight!. Book yourself a table at one of the water edge restaurants, indulge in a local nougat boutique and I also highly recommend you rent a boat in which to navigate through the canals.
